Det beskrivs även som att födas på nytt. Det handlar om en process, en förvandling, något som på ett naturligt sätt händer i vår vardag när vi valt att bli Jesus lärjungar.
Men det handlar inte bara om vår personliga upprättelse utan om hela skapelsens upprättelse. Bibeln talar om en ny himmel och en ny jord där rättfärdighet ska råda. Problemet med vår nuvarande värld är all orättfärdighet, där vi har oss själva i centrum och trampar ner våra medmänniskor för att få makt och berika oss själva.

The problem with our current world is all the injustice, where we put ourselves at the center and trample on our fellow human beings in order to gain power and enrich ourselves.
The Bible tells us that when Jesus was born in Bethlehem, astrologers from the East came to pay homage to him. They understood that a new powerful king had come into the world. In Israel at that time, people were waiting for the Messiah to come and free them from the oppression of the Roman Empire. But the revolution that Jesus started was much greater than that; it is about liberating the whole human race and establishing a new world order that will lead to a new earth where justice will prevail. This is happening right now, and we can keep that in mind when we see the child in the manger.
